Dr Rehman is our Orthodontic Lead and has worked in a busy mixed Private and NHS orthodontic practice for almost fifteen
years. He has treated thousands of cases – from simple fixed alignment to complex joint minor surgical/orthodontic cases. He is an
accomplished provider of aligner treatments with over 10 years of experience with Invisalign. He has an MSc in primary dental care
(Orthodontic Special Interest, with Distinction) and has worked exclusively in orthodontics since 2007.
Dr Rehman provides orthodontic clinical mentoring for a number of his colleagues and is committed to developing a culture of
continuing education and clinical excellence within the group. He is also particularly interested in digital treatment planning within
orthodontics.
Dr Asad Iqbal

Dr Iqbal is the owner and Principal Dentist of a chain of multi award winning dental clinics located throughout Scotland.
Providing the most advanced orthodontic care in a comfortable and pleasant atmosphere, Dr Iqbal has over thirteen years’
experience providing high end dental treatment and is renowned for being an expert in treating even the most anxious of patients.
Qualifying in 2008 from the University of Dundee, he is now working towards a Master’s degree having already completed a Post
Graduate Certificate in Orthodontics from the University of Warwick. Following on from this, Dr Iqbal now practices exclusively in
orthodontics. He is currently a clinical speaker for Align Technology, lecturing fellow dentists on the Invisalign system. Historically
year on year he has been one of the largest treatment providers of Invisalign in the UK, having achieved the much coveted Diamond
provider status.
Dr Nirmal Shah

Dr Shah trained at Dundee Dental School where he passed his Bachelor of Dental Surgery with distinction. He then undertook further
training in general practice, paediatric dentistry, restorative dentistry and oral & maxillofacial surgery before commencing specialty
training in orthodontics at the Edinburgh Dental Institute and the Borders General Hospital. Dr Shah is currently on a pathway to
consultant level, managing complex multidisciplinary cases including hypodontia, combined orthodontic-restorative, sleep apnoea
and orthognathic treatment.
Dr Shah is also an Honorary Clinical Tutor at Dundee Dental School and the College of Medicine and Dentistry in Birmingham. He
lectures nationally and internationally in the field of non-surgical facial aesthetics and is always happy to provide advice for facially
driven orthodontic treatment planning.
Dr Ameena Ahmed

Having obtained a BChD from the University of Leeds in 2011, Dr Ahmed then undertook the Longitudinal Dental Foundation Training
within the Yorkshire Deanery. This allowed her to gain extensive experience within orthodontics, oral surgery and paediatric dentistry
whilst also being competent in carrying out treatment under sedation and general anaesthetic.
Using this experience, she then worked in Oxfordshire delivering multi-disciplinary care before relocating to Scotland. She has
obtained a Post Graduate qualification from the University of Warwick, with a further Master’s degree in orthodontics pending. Dr
Ahmed has been a passionate Invisalign provider since 2015 whilst also being highly skilled in conventional fixed orthodontics. She is
especially known for her calming manner, particularly with children.

As a long-standing Invisalign provider, Dr Chaudry is able to use the clear aligner system to deliver fully comprehensive treatment
plans, and is happy to offer mentorship and training to fellow referring dentists.
Dr. Laura Hernández Horlock

Dr. Hernández Horlock qualified as a dentist in May 2012 at Rey Juan Carlos University in Madrid, Spain. She soon discovered that she was especially interested in orthodontics, an area where she could develop her technical and people skills. She then went on to study a three-year Orthodontic Residency Programme at the same university, qualifying in 2015. Having worked in several dental practices in Madrid, Dr. Hernández Horlock relocated to Scotland in 2016 and has worked exclusively in orthodontics ever since. In the past years she has acquired an extensive knowledge in orthodontic and orthopaedic activities and has become proficient in carrying out treatments with traditional fixed metal braces, fixed ceramic braces, removable braces and clear aligners (Invisalign®) in patients of all ages. As a clinican, Dr. Hernández Horlock is friendly, caring and dedicated. She excels at making her patients feel at ease during their appointments and encourages them to enjoy their visits to the practice.
